CHANGI AIRPORT NAMES “BEST AIRPORT – ASIA” AT THE 2017 AFLAS AWARDS

With the support of our partners and strong vote of confidence accorded by the industry, Singapore Changi Airport was recently named “Best Airport of the Year – Asia” at the 2017 Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain (AFLAS) Awards held in Singapore at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre on 29 June 2017. 
The AFLAS awards, hosted and organised annually by Asia Cargo news,  honour leading transport and related service providers across the world in 
over 40 major award categories – including international air and shipping lines, air and seaports, as well as global freight forwarders, terminal operators and other associated industry professionals for demonstrating leadership and consistency in service quality, innovation, customer relationship management and reliability. The results were determined through voting by its readers and e-news subscribers.
 
Other notable winners amongst the Singapore freight and logistics community include SATS, Singapore Airlines Cargo and Port of Singapore Authority.
 
“This award is a testament to the unrelenting efforts and commitment of our airport partners in developing Singapore’s air connectivity, capabilities and efficiency, as well as affirms Changi Airport’s global air cargo hub position”, said Ms. Jaisey Yip, Associate General Manager, CAG.
